چکیده

Objectives: To analyse CPEB3 using bioinformatic tools in several types of cancer, various HNSCC cell lines based on cancer stages, tumour grades and the gene interaction, protein regulating pathway, microRNA survival analysis. Methods: Bioinformatics used were UALCAN, TCGA, NCBI, GEPIA, Oncomine, cBioPortal, Human Protein Atlas, STRING, Metascape, miRNA Target Prediction Database. Findings: expression was considerably reduced 520 samples. Given that downregulated with pathological grading grade 1 (n=62), 2 (n=303), 3 (n=125) all 4 stages HNSCC, this suggests may be useful for determining prognosis HNSCC. interaction revealed high related proteins. causes negative regulation cytoplasmic translation, cellular response to amino acid stimulus downregulation population proliferation. Significant low patient p=0.013(p<0.05). lower patients an altered mTOR pathway relative healthy controls. miRDB results showed miR- 184-5p miR-21-5p regulate corresponding target scores 98 92. Novelty: This study is first its kind utilise analysis role biological processes. Although there are silico studies has involved molecular processes impact Further knockout warranted consider as a potential or biomarker Keywords: CPEB; HNSCC; mTOR; microRNA; insilico;

Density of mast-cells and Microvessels Density in head and neck cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Background and Aim: Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) is the second most common skin cancer. Mast cells may play a role in tumor progression and metastasis by increasing angiogenesis. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of mast cells by increasing angiogenesis in invasion of head and neck cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional stud...

Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition and Inflammation in Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) represents a large majority of cancers arising from the head and neck, especially the oral cavity. Despite advances in therapy, the five-year survival rate remains low due to the number of patients presenting advanced stages of the disease. The role of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in tumorigenesis in HNSCC remains unexplored. The current ...

Soluble HER-2 in Patients with Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Introduction: The presence of HER-2 has been shown to be a prognostic factor in many kinds of cancers, but its role in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is not still defined. The purpose of the current study is to investigate the role of HER-2 in HNSCC and its correlation with various clinicopathologic parameters.   Materials and Methods: Peripheral blood samples were obtained ...
